Hi I'm Camryn!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) here in Pennsylvania. I believe that each person already possesses the strength and potential needed to create change in their life; however, I know that difficult moments in our lives can make those strengths hard to us to see. My role is to provide you with a space that is supportive and nonjudgemental so that we can explore experiences, look at current tools and resources in your life, and work to create new strategies to help you achieve your goals. I have worked across various fields in mental health and recognize that no two people are the same, which is why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I pull from a variety of evidence-based approaches such as Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and I am also certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Pennsylvania Western University - Edinboro.
When I am not working with clients, I am most likely spending time with my cats, Rosalina and Peach (yes they are named after Mario-Kart), sitting outside reading a book, or spending time with the people I love and care about.
Whether you are navigating through transitions in life or experiencing difficult emotions, I am here to guide and support you to create the change you want for yourself.
Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way.
